YMCA Hope & Freedom Festival
On Saturday, September 13 from 1:00PM-9:00PM the Parkview Family YMCA will be hosting the Hope and Freedom Festival. This is an event kicking off the Journey to Freedom Program, a program that started in a meeting room at a YMCA in Nashville, Tennessee. It has become one of the most talked about resources available to break the life-controlling issues we all face.
Strides of Hope Walkathon
Registration is underway for this year's Strides of Hope Walkathon on Saturday September 20th at Shoaff Park. This annual benefit is a fund raiser for A Hope Center, which provides valuable pregnancy related services for women and their families. You can walk or run in this event, but the key is to not only have fun, but to enlist as many sponsors as possible.

We welcome those who want to test their endurance in a certified half marathon course that provides a scenic view of historic Fort Wayne, and those who want to run or walk a 4 mile course that shows off the city's parks and downtown area. Many local restaurateurs will be showcasing their healthy cuisine, and fitness organizations will provide information and display products that support a fit lifestyle.
